General objectives
in EstonianValmistada ette süvendatud ja spetsiifiliste teadmiste ja oskustega ning kutsestandardi 7. tasemele vastavaid volitatud maastikuarhitekte, kes koostavad, juhivad ja hindavad maastiku-uuringuid, välisruumi kujundusprojekte, ruumilisi planeeringuid ning ruumiloome terviklahendusi ja on võimelised võtma vastutust ning tegema strateegilisi otsuseid oma valdkonna arendamiseks.
in EnglishPreparing authorised landscape architects with comprehensive and specialized knowledge and skills corresponding to EstQF Level 7, who are able
to draw up, manage and evaluate studies on landscape, outdoor design projects, spatial planning and holistic spatial design solutions, and are able to take responsibility and take strategic decisions to develop their field.
Learning outcomes
in EstonianÕppekava läbinu:
1) omab süsteemset ülevaadet ja laiapõhjalisi teadmisi maastikuarhitektuuri olemusest, arengusuundadest ja uurimismeetoditest ning oskab luua interdistsiplinaarseid seoseid;
2) tunneb ja kasutab sobivaid meetodeid ja vahendeid välisruumi terviklahenduste modelleerimiseks ning võimalike tagajärgede hindamiseks;
3) oskab planeerida ja kujundada esteetilistele ja funktsionaalsetele nõuetele vastavat linnalist ja maalist välisruumi inimese ja looduse hüvanguks, arvestades eetiliste, looduslike, kultuuriliste, sotsiaalsete ja majanduslike väärtustega;
4) omab erialast väljendusoskust, käsitleb erialatemaatikat kõnes, kirjas ja visuaalis, on võimeline argumenteerima ja osalema aruteludes;
5) oskab teha iseseisvat uurimistööd, mis hõlmab erialase uurimisküsimuse ja selle lahenduse kirjalikku ja suulist esitamist; tunneb teaduseetika põhimõtteid;
6) evib juhtimis- ja meeskonnatööoskust; on valmis aktiivselt osalema kodanikuühiskonnas ning suhtub sallivalt hoiakute ja väärtuste mitmekesisusse;
7) on valmis õpingute jätkamiseks doktoriõppes, oskab hinnata isiklikku professionaalset arengut ja täiendusõppevajadust.
in EnglishAfter completing the curriculum, the graduates will be expected to:
1) have a systematic overview and extensive knowledge of the concepts, theories and research methods of landscape architecture and be able to recognize and make interdisciplinary connections;
2) be able to select and use appropriate technologies and methods to model and solve problems of landscape architecture and to assess the potential results;
3) be able to plan and design urban and rural space which meets the aesthetic and functional requirements for the benefit of humans and nature, considering ethical, natural, cultural, social and economic values;
4) be able to express himself / herself in the language of instruction, deal with professional topics in speech, writing and visuals, be able to argue and participate in discussions;
5) be able to carry out independent research, which includes the written and oral presentation of a professional research question and its solution; knows the principles of scientific and research ethics;
6) have management and teamwork skills; be ready to take an active part in civil society and to respect the diversity of attitudes and values;
7) be prepared to continue the studies in doctoral level, be able to assess personal professional development and the need for continuing education.
